A slouchy hat with a broad cable panel, Skáidi is the perfect cozy chapeau for winter. Honeycomb cables along each side of the main panel are balanced by a third honeycomb cable on the far side. Worked in The Fibre Co.’s luxurious bulky Tundra yarn, this is a great project for holiday gifts.

YARN:
The Fibre Co. Tundra (60% baby alpaca, 30% merino wool, 10% silk, 109m (120 yd) per 100g hank) in Glacier – 2 hanks
NEEDLES:
US 9 (5.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular or double pointed needles as desired US 10 (6.0 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular or double pointed needles as desired, or SIZE NEEDED TO GET GAUGE.
TENSION/GAUGE:
12 stitches & 20.5 rnds = 4″ (10 cm) in stockinette on larger needles.
GARMENT MEASUREMENTS:
Circumference: approximately 19 (20, 22)” or 48.5 (51, 56) cm circumference at the ribbing.
Height: 9 (10.75, 12.25)” or 23 (27.5, 31) cm.
