CORRECTION NOTES: 4th April 2018

Creating a stretchy i-cord edge On Rows 3 and 4 of the shawl body you add a yfwd at the start of the row. This ywfd is then dropped on the following row, Rows 4 and 5 respectively. This gives the i-cord edge the extra stretch needed to sit neatly along the garter stitch body.

These yfwd’s are not included in the stitch counts given as they are dropped on the following row.

Unfortunately, the last sentence was cropped off at the end of Page 4 – The full last row should read:

  • In Row 17 of Increase Section 1, the M1R increase that was immediately after smF was moved to be before smF.
  • In Row 21 of Increase Section 1, there was an extra “smD” before “M1R, smD” that should not have been there and has been removed.
CORRECTION NOTES: 20th December 2022
A few corrections have been made to the Body Instructions on page 6 as follows:
  • On Row 1, the instruction said to work a repeat until 6 sts before mF when it was meant to be mE. On the same row instruction, the last increase was corrected to be a M1L instead of a M1R.
  • The number of times to repeat Rows 1-2 was decreased by 1 for all sizes – the numbers listed in the pattern were the total number of times to work Rows 1-2 rather than the number of times to repeat them.
  • On Rows 3, 5 and 7, the first increase was changed from an M1L to an M1R, the last increase was changed from and M1R to and M1L, and two increases were added to the back section between markers E and F to balance out the decreases and maintain the stitch count
CORRECTION NOTES: 17th February 2023
