The Fibre Co. Arranmore Light (80% merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% silk, 300 m (328 yd) per 100g hank) in Slieve Sunset – 1 hank.

These fingerless mitts are worked in the round in one piece. Tucks are knitted into the piece as it is worked.

Advanced beginner.

SIZES AND MEASUREMENTS:
One Size.

Finished measurements:
Mitts circumference: 20 cm (8 in) at wrist/hand, 23 cm (9) at cuff
Mitts length: 21 cm (8.5 in)

TENSION/GAUGE:
21 sts and 35 rnds to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st worked in the rnd using 3.75mm (US 5) needles.

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS REQUIRED: 

  • 3.75mm (US 5) set of double pointed needles or circular needles for your preferred method of working small circumference knitting in the round (or size to obtain gauge)
  • 3.75mm (US 5) straight/double point or cable needle for tucks
  • Stitch markers
  • Darning needle
