England’s stunning north-western landscape with its deep blue lakes and sheep-grazed fells inspired this classic worsted-weight yarn made from fine Merino for softness, wool from the English Masham sheep for a beautiful heathered colour and Argentinian mohair for strength and lustre. So soft and such a joy to knit. Perfect for colorwork too. I’ll be buying more.

I used Cumbria to knit a hat and house socks as a Christmas gift, using US 4 needles. Cumbria is soft yet sturdy and after a wash the yarn relaxes and all the stitches are smooth. The die is stable, no running of colors.
